Selah seeks to affect six dimensions of our being. These all need to be addressed in order for us to feel good, be healthy and enjoy life.

Emotional
Balancing hormones through exercise, calming the spirit, and finding peace through meditation on words of wisdom.
Spiritual
Enjoying God through worshipful music and meditating on His Word.
Physical
Addressing every aspect of fitness: Cardio, Strength, Flexibility, Breathing, Relaxation and Meditation.
Relational
Building community, improving commitment, and providing support.
Intellectual
Stimulating the mind through the physical benefits of movement, as well as focused Scripture meditation.
Transformational
”Being transformed by the renewing of your minds” Romans 12:2

EMOTIONAL dimension

PHYSICAL dimension
• binding our physical work with ongoing connection with the word

• incorporating every aspect of physical fitness(endurance, strength, flexibility, balance and
relaxation) in concordance with all the most current, sound and safe practices in the area
of physical wellbeing
RELATIONAL dimension
• building friendships and bridges into people’s lives
• helping each other grow spiritually
• Heb 1:24 “let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works”
•Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all
wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to
God.”
INTELLECTUAL dimension
demands are placed on our bodies.
• More importantly, encouraging the memorizing of scripture and sharpening of the mind.
